Module 1
The focus is messaging. You’ve heard the saying, “If you’re trying to help everyone, then you’ll end up helping no one.” Well, you want to avoid a lack of impact by being strategic in your target marketing. (These are the people you are called to influence.) Simply put, who will you market your book to? The How to Write Your First Book® curriculum is designed to help you clarify your messaging so that you can clarify your audience a.k.a. your readers.
Module 2
The focus is writing. This is the meat and potatoes of the program. It’s where strategy + accountability meet, as you will learn a proven process to outline and write your book. A writing timeline will be given for accountability and progress tracking, not to mention my written feedback to ensure your manuscript is clear and concise.
Module 3
The focus is editing. This is my favorite part of the program. Ha! As I former English teacher, who focused on grammar and reading comprehension, I thrive on polishing words for readability. The best way to get your written message across is concise, clear, and proper language. This is done via editing.
Module 4
The focus is launching. This includes trainings on different ways to release your work to your audience (e.g., pre-order, upsells, etc.).
Module 5
The focus is publishing. This is a step-by-step training on how to publish your paperback book and/or digital book on Amazon (my publishing platform of choice). It includes access to resources needed to meet Amazon KDP’s publishing guidelines.

Weekly 30-minute coaching sessions. Live Zoom calls to discuss “homework,” process strategies, and answer any related questions
Writing timeline. Editable spreadsheet with dates, word count, etc. to keep track of the manuscript progress
Writing feedback. Comments and constructive critiques on your manuscript to make sure it’s clear, concise, and in alignment with your brand
