In honor of World Teacher's Day, I thought it would be appropriate to write a blog post on the one reason why I chose to become a teacher. Don't worry, it'll be brief.
Because there are so many reasons why teaching is my profession of choice (coupled with writing), I will narrow it down to the most important reason: TEACHING CHOSE ME! Cheesy, i know. But it's the truth.
It was my third year in college that my friend, Natalie, told me about her tutoring gig, a gig that would soon turn into MY career. I never considered teaching as an occupational path in my youth, but I visited Natalie's job to see if I was fit for the "professional educator" journey.
